Mission
The mission of A.W.E. is to promote the physical, mental, emotional, and professional wellbeing of educators through programs, services, and initiatives.
A.W.E. is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
Objectives
The objectives of the organization are as follows:
To provide resources and support for the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of teachers.
To conduct research and gather data on teacher wellbeing to inform policies and practices.
To develop and implement training programs that promote self-care, stress management, and work-life balance for educators.
To advocate for the inclusion of teacher wellbeing in educational policies and practices.
To collaborate with educational institutions, organizations, and communities to foster a culture of teacher wellbeing and reduce teacher attrition.
